Yitong Wang holds a master’s degree in Art History from the University of Chicago. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Art History from Franklin and Marshall College.

Prior to founding Tong Art Advisory in 2019, Wang has worked as translator, art critic and gallerist in New York, Beijing and Berlin.

Since 2011, Wang has been an ambassador of Chinese-based artists in the United States, promoting institutional recognition and placing works with private and public collections. She has also facilitated growing knowledge and numerous acquisitions of international artists among Chinese clients. Over the years, she has become a trusted and valued member of both the Chinese and Western art communities through her collaboration with galleries, institutions, press and corporate and private clients. 

 

Yitong Wang sits on the International Director's Council at the Guggenheim Museum, as well as the National Council of Artadia.

Tanni Chen graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in Art History, with a minor in Philosophy. She completed her Master’s Degree as the class valedictorian in Modern and Contemporary Art at Christie’s Education in New York. 

Tanni has worked in Post-War and Contemporary Art and Impressionist and Modern Art specialist departments at Christie’s New York. Prior to her career at Christie’s, she has also held an internship position at Edel Assanti, a London based contemporary art gallery. 

At Tong Art Advisory, she assists in coordination and management of exhibition projects in China as well as internal and external communication. She has also been focusing on nurturing the younger generation of art collectors in China and beyond.
